Dear IIA NZ Members,
I am delighted to announce that the results of the Institute of Internal Auditors of New Zealand (IIA NZ) Board Elections, which took place during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, 22 May 2024, at noon, held at PwC, 10 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, has been finalised.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome and introduce five exceptional individuals who have been appointed to join the IIA NZ board.
Please join me in extending a warm welcome to the following newly elected board members:
Their successful election is a testament to their outstanding dedication and commitment to the internal auditing profession. Each of these individuals brings a unique set of skills, experiences, and perspectives that will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement and success of the IIA NZ. We are truly fortunate to have such exceptional individuals joining our team, and we eagerly look forward to collaborating with them to further the mission and goals of IIA NZ.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all the IIA NZ members who were able to join us either online or in person at the AGM. It was truly wonderful to have your presence and engagement throughout the event. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to run a hybrid event, allowing us to connect with members from different locations and provide a seamless experience for all. Thank you for making the AGM a memorable and inclusive occasion.
I would like to seize this opportunity to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our departing board members, YY Lee, who has served as the IIA NZ Board Chair for the past four years, as well as Tee Chow Lee and Grace Nunn, who have contributed in various capacities over the past few years. Your commitment, volunteer hours, and dedication have been invaluable to us, and we are profoundly grateful for your service. Thank you for your time and the selfless efforts you have devoted to our organisation.
Once again, congratulations to our newly elected board members, best wishes to our departing board members and thank you to all the members who attended the AGM. Together, let us continue striving for excellence and success in the field of internal auditing.
