Associate membership is for individuals not working in the Internal Audit profession but who wish to hold membership of the Institute.

Student Member: FREE (for the duration of their full-time study only)
Student membership is for individuals engaged full time in the study of internal auditing or related courses at college, technical institutes or universities who cannot qualify as either an Individual member or an Associate.

Please contact IIA NZ if you are interested in student membership.

The Retired / On Leave membership category is designated for individuals who have retired, are on sabbatical or parental leave, or are taking a leave of absence from their workplace. Members under this classification are restricted from engaging in any form of internal auditing and may need to fulfil specific membership requirements upon reapplication for full membership. We advise individuals interested in this membership to reach out to the IIA NZ National Office for additional details before applying. It's important to note that Retired / On Leave members do not possess any voting rights.

We would like to inform you of a new Membership Application Fee of $50.00 + GST.
