One of the functions of the team is to provide independent and objective internal audit, assurance, risk advisory and fraud and workplace integrity services.

Mō te tūnga | About the role

The Senior Advisor Fraud and Integrity will report to the Director Risk and Internal Assurance. This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting journey as the functions focuses on uplifting the trust, credibility and value add it provides to stakeholders. 

You will be responsible for providing high quality tailored advice to managers and staff on fraud and integrity related issues across Oranga Tamariki. A key part of your role will be leading reactive investigations and supporting the Principal Advisor Fraud and Integrity in the development, implementation and future maintenance of a fit-for-purpose, proactively focused integrity framework. 

We work closely with our Senior Leadership Team and receive a high level of support in the functions we perform.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

Key requirements of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Previous experience in fraud and workplace integrity.
  • Ability to advise and support people at all levels of large complex organisations.
  • Highly developed organisational skills - able to manage a busy and diverse workload and deliver high-quality outcomes in tight timeframes.
  • Excellent relationship management skills - able to establish, build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the Ministry, as well as with key stakeholders.
  • Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture

Annual remuneration for this position starts between $106,416 and $117,782 dependant on experience.
