Event Details: Event Overview: In recognition of World Whistleblowers Day 2026, IIA NZ is pleased to host this one-hour online webinar exploring the role internal audit can play in supporting effective speak-up and whistleblowing arrangements within organisations. Whistleblowing and protected disclosure frameworks are an important part of organisational integrity, accountability and trust. They provide pathways for people to raise concerns safely and appropriately, while supporting boards, executives and leaders to understand whether organisational culture, governance and control environments are operating as intended. This session will consider how internal auditors can provide assurance over whistleblowing frameworks, reporting pathways, organisational culture, governance oversight and the practical controls that support effective speak-up arrangements. The webinar will also explore the New Zealand context, including the importance of protected disclosures, organisational accountability, and the role internal audit can play in helping organisations strengthen trust, transparency and ethical decision-making. Who should attend? Agenda: Registrations are now open and will close on Thursday, 18 June 2026, at midnight. A confirmation email and online access details will be sent to registered attendees prior to the event. If you require assistance with registering, please contact events@iianz.org.nz
