Tariq Bio:

• Tariq is the Managing Director and Founder of RapidLynx Consulting which has a mission to "empower organisations to unlock the power of data, analytics and AI through customised, collaborative and cost-effective services"
• Prior to starting RapidLynx in 2023, Tariq held Executive Manager Analytics roles in the internal audit functions at CBA and Westpac for several years. Prior to working in banking, he spent several years specialising in data forensics at PwC.
• Tariq has led data analytics work on over 150 internal audits across his roles at CBA, Westpac and PwC.
• Tariq works closely with IIA-Australia, including presenting on data analytics at the 2024 SOPAC international conference, delivery of data analytics workshops at conferences across Australia, is a member of IIA-Australia's AI Working Group and he has authored several white papers spanning data analytics, data risk and AI.
• Tariq holds a double degree in Engineering (Computer Systems) and Maths and Computer Science from the University of Adelaide.
• Tariq is a Professional Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (PMIIA).
