Public Sector Assurance Forum 2024

This year, the forum will be hosted in-person in Canberra and virtually, with additional in-person workshops available on the Friday.

The program is now available and is designed to provide invaluable insights on a variety of topics, including:

  • Building integrity and capability in the public sector
  • Unpacking the Australian Cyber Security Uplift Strategy Program
  • Assessing culture and ethical performance
  • Data protection - Getting controls right in the automated environment
  • Climate reporting - Why it matters for the public sector
  • Auditing change management programs
  • Delivering and measuring the value of the internal audit function

These sessions will be presented by esteemed public sector specialists, assurance professionals, and experts.

The Public Sector Assurance Forum is designed for internal audit, risk, compliance, quality and governance professionals working across the public sector. The forum will provide a series of high-level sessions to deliver broad insights and directions that are impacting the sector, along with a number of technical sessions on risk, audit and compliance that will delve into the practicalities of providing assurance.
