The IIA NZ Lunch 'n' Learn Monthly Luncheon serves as a platform for professionals in the field of risk management, internal auditing, and related disciplines to come together, network, and gain valuable insights and knowledge from industry experts. The purpose of these luncheons is to foster collaboration, share best practices, networking opportunities and promote continuous professional development. This event is offered as a hybrid event. All are welcome.

Speaker: Julie Haggie - Chief Executive Officer, Transparency International New Zealand

We are excited to welcome our distinguished speaker, Julie Haggie, CEO of Transparency International New Zealand to our IIA NZ Lunch n Learn April 2024 event.

Bio: Julie has 20 years of experience as a Chief Executive Officer and senior manager in regulatory, professional and NGO organisations.

She is an accomplished leader, advocate, negotiator and communicator. She has facilitated standards development, and research projects, and has overseen complaints and disciplinary processes.

Her earlier career was in secondary teaching. Julie is a strong advocate for civil society participation. She loves her leadership role at TINZ, as it enables her to interweave several decades of skill and knowledge towards great outcomes for Aotearoa.

Topic summary: For our April Lunch n Learn event, we are honoured to host Julie Haggie, CEO of TINZ. The session will delve into Corruption Perceptions Index.

NZ has dropped to 3rd in the world in the Corruption Perceptions Index ranking after two decades in first or second place.

Date: Please note we will be running this month's Lunch n Learn on the Tuesday 23rd April due to ANZAC Day.

The Luncheon event will also offer an excellent opportunity for networking and knowledge sharing among professionals in the field.

Online Networking: Prior to the commencement of the welcoming remarks and the speaker's presentation at 12:30 pm, we're organising a virtual lunch chat room session. You'll have the chance to engage with fellow online attendees and get into the networking spirit!

We will providing two separate Team meeting invites for your convenience. The first Team invite will connect you to the chat room lunch session, where you can interact with all the online participants over lunch. The second Team invite is reserved for the main speaker presentation and the ensuing Q&A session.

The online session link will be sent to online delegates the day prior, along with background material for the sessions registered.
